tsw28Father Gordon MacRae (about) does it again. Father’s literary style shines especially brightly in this essay. It is clear to me that he is quickly on his way to becoming one of America’s greatest literary geniuses, whose works will be placed in anthologies dedicated to his wisdom and guidance, and placed on must read lists, ever so ironically, for all High School youngsters, Catholic or not, in public schools or otherwise.

I think that, in this essay, he may just barely escape being sent to Guantanamo as an instigator by Obamerika sycophants, that is, for his incisive commentary on American revolutionary Thomas Paine’s 1776 essay on The American Crisis, in which the central point is this:

“What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.”

for greater glory26The last thing Obama wants is true American patriotism. Father Gordon might not escape interrogation by way of waterboarding, lights in the eyes, electric shocks, and so on, by the CIA, FBI, DHS, FEMA, USAIC (whom he mentions in particular, if but indirectly), and, of course, the EPA and IRS, among others, but not for his Cristero-esque commentary in this great essay, which is stunningly to the point, but rather because it is clear that he, Father Gordon MacRae, is Catholic, and not only that, but also a priest. I think he’s on his way to knowing San Toribio rather well.

As it is, yesterday (June 5, 2013) was Father Gordon MacRae’s 31st anniversary to the priesthood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, meaning that he now has 364 days until he begins his 33rd year as a priest.

The Italians don’t count anniversaries of ordination, but rather count in “Years of Holy Mass offered daily.” I like that. I like it a lot. But this is applicable to Father Gordon MacRae only by way of analogy. For many years, being slammed around in solitary confinement and otherwise not having privileges in prison, he was not able to offer Holy Mass for years and years. And now he only does so about once a week on Sunday evenings, in rather limited circumstances. And yet, his entire priesthood has become an act of intercession for all of us from the Cross, with Jesus, and that is a kind of Holy Mass in its own right, is it not?

How to get to the article:

No problems for Mac users. For others, there seems to be a difficulty.

  • If I type http://www.thesestonewalls.com into the Internet Explorer or Chrome address bar, I arrive at last weeks post. This week’s article does not appear.
  • If I do a google search for TheseStoneWalls, and click on a link from google, then I do arrive at this week’s post.

Freedom, Catholic Free Speech, and a Partisan IRS Scandal

P.S. Does anyone know why that could be happening? Is there a fix?

obama scandals

P.S. When you read that post, as usual, you’ll have to do a bit of analogy with Father Gordon’s situation in prison. Read IRS in terms of the NCRRG and the Diocese of Manchester. Good priests are slammed down because they are good priests. They get in the way of saving money. Remember this? – The Judas Crisis and The National Catholic Risk Retention Group (TNCRRG)
